A litlle disappointment on the Vendela rose since there were some spots of brown on the side of the smaller bulbs and 5 stems broke and one bud fell off. Dear Farms to Go: We ordered 400 off white roses and 80 blue hydrangeas for my daughter's wedding on August 25. We received deliveries of 200 roses on Wed. and 200 roses + 80 hydrangeas on Thursday. We made 7 bouquets, 7 corsages, 2 small wrist bouquets, 10 boutinnieres, and centerpieces for 17 tables at the reception. They were beautiful and very fresh and lasted a week after the wedding. We had so many compliments on the flowers-- "the most elegant we have ever seen" "very beautiful" from guests who had attended many weddings. No one could believe we had done them ourselves, but we did it all with the help of the future mother in law, the bride, 2 grandmothers, and 3 aunts. My daughter had done a lot of research and found that your hydrangeas were less than half the price of the next lowest wholesale competitor, so I am sure that we saved at least a thousand dollars by going through FlowerFarmstoGo. I am emailing a few snapshots of the wedding and emailing 2 professional photos in separate emails to show you how well a group of amateurs did with your flowers and instructions from the internet. The only problem I had was that I didn't read the fine print closely and wasn't aware that I needed to be home to sign for the flowers, but FedEx was very cooperative about redelivering my first shipment in a timely manner. This March was my own wedding, I want nice looking flowers, but the price my local florists (NYC—Manhattan) quoted me is enough to send me into depression. I decided to face the challenge and be my own florist, I order flowers from Flowers to go again, because it is a bit more details, so, I have to order flowers from different vendors.(The selection is not great, especially seasonal flowers and specialty flowers) Flowers to go is the best I had used so far. The flowers are fresh, (I have the flowers delivered 3 days before my wedding) and they are honest and the price is very reasonable. I will definitely use Flowers to go again when I need flowers. A few suggestions if you don’t mind------if you can provide a little more selections, such as seasonal flowers, (Weddings mostly) also, for special kind of flowers, other than our everyday roses and carnations, can there be a bit more choices in quantity? I can’t quite use all 200 tulips, or all 100 peonies. I would have bought all the flowers from you if there are more selections. And for the greens, sometimes it is difficult to use all the greens in the box. Over all, FlowerFarmstogo is a great place to shop for your flower needs. They do deliver what they promised. I just wish they can provide a bit more selections like sweet peas, anemones, Hanging Amaranthus, Freesia, Stephanothis, and etc. Those are flowers used in wedding and a lot of other occasions. I was really in a pinch. This was the first year I served as sponsor for my school's National Honor Society, which is in charge of the carnations for Valentine's Day fundraiser every year. Not really knowing what I was doing (and being a natural procrastinator, besides) I waited much longer than I should have to contact places to find out about getting some flowers shipped. Most places I called were charging about $.60 a stem for mixed carnations. I really thought I would end up needing to pay that, in which case this would have probably been NHS's poorest fundraising effort to date. Thank you for your prompt shipment of dendrobium orchids. They came quicker than anticipated. It was unfortunate that the purple orchids were unavailable this week due to rainy weather conditions, but the two-tone pink orchids are nice too. I was disappointed that there was no flower food included with any of my 3 shipments. I was forced to buy Floralife packets from a local florist at the last minute for $10! Just a note to tell you how beautiful the Christmas bouquets were that we ordered from you. They arrived right on schedule and were in perfect condition! We cut the stems and put them in water(we didn't have the floral solution so we used 7-up) and within a few hours they were even more beautiful than when we first got them. I loved them so much I took some home from our store to my house and it is now almost two weeks and they are still gorgeous!
